Today we have an interview with up and coming hip-hop group Bridge Boyz! They are all about good music and keeping it true to themselves! They are working on a new album entitled “Hell and Back” and they took the time to sit down and answer some questions for us here at www.dowhatyoudesire.com! Sit back, read and do what you desire…

What’s the first thing you would say if someone asked, what does “Bridge Boyz” do?

We make music for the mind body and soul.

What inspired you to create music?

We grew up in a house with music my uncle was lead singer for a band my cousin was a neighborhood D.J. and a friend that would push me into doing this rap thing.

Who are some of your influences in music?

We like Scar-Face, Out Kast, Biggie, 2-Pac and N.W.A.

What has been your favorite moment of your hip-hop career?

We once performed for The Boost Mobile show once at the McCormick Place one of the biggest crowds we performed, it was epic.

Take us through a studio session with you - how do you come up with your music/songs?

One of our biggest critics is our road manager Wamboosie. If he’s not in the studio keeping us on point, the session is off a little and the best thing is that we have such a relationship that we can tell each other when the verse is wack or if the song is not hitting. The way a song is formed is if the track talks to us and the hook is always first it brings the everything together.

Are you working on any new projects?

Right now we are working on a mixtape called Hell and Back and we got a couple of videos in the works.

Who are some of the artists/producers you have worked with?

We’ve worked with Chicago Shawn and Preast G of Qualo, Young GII, Isiah, Magik, Cylent Sound, Chris Sire, JHollins, Teefa, Get Gwop, D.L.Rob, Tilla Da Hun Hun, Body Boys and M. Strt Freddy.

What is going to set you apart from the rest of the hip-hop game?

Any last words of advice to artists?

Make plan see it threw remember this is business and you to have your wits about yourself and follow your dreams it can get rough but don’t give up.
